Truck Mounted Conveyor Belt Winder

Developed locally in South Africa for mining operations is this conveyor belt winding system where relatively easy handling of conveyor belts (for replacement or repair) is now made much easier with this purpose designed truck.

The shaft are easily removed to facilitate transfer of rolls and replacement of the spool for the next roll.


Roll lengths:  Up to approximately 300 metres depending on thickness of the belt.

Roll widths:  600mm to 2200mm but wider available upon request.

Custom design for clients is possible and practical

The entire operation is hydraulically controlled with controls positioned behind the cab according to customer requirements.

Spare spools are stored on the truck deck and all tools can be stored in the toolboxes supplied as part of the equipment.

Tandem Personnel Carrier

CHROMOPREP TANDEM AXLE STANDEE PERSONNEL CARRIER

BODY LENGTH: 13500mm
INTERNAL HEIGHT: 2000mm
OVERALL WIDTH: 2600mm
CONSTRUCTION: Chromoprep panels huck bolted to galvanised top hat stiffeners.
CHASSIS: Two member double crank frame manufactured from rolled steel channel frame.
ROOF: Chromoprep with square corners resting on MBC galvanised top hat roof sticks at 450mm intervals.
SIDES & FRONT: Chromoprep flat sheeting. The panels used for the sides and front are 1200mm wide, a heavy gauge galvanised top hat section stiffener is welded to the floor and roof cant rail. The panels are huck bolted to the top hat section.
FLOOR: 4,5mm mild steel vastrap with 12 drain holes for washing.
RUST PREVENTION: The sides up to 300mm above the floor and also in the corners will be sprayed with Plascon Epiduct Epoxy finishing which gives a good chemical solvent acid and water resistant, as well as excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance.
BUS TYPE SLIDING WINDOWS: 1024 x 700mm on the two sides and two fixed emergency windows on the rear sides. Side windows riveted rear windows in push out claytonrite rubber.
VENTILATION: 10 mini vents will be fitted in the roof.
ENTRANCE: One 900mm wide door will be fitted with recessed access steps at kerbside. Pneumatic type doors, controlled from the drivers cab and constructed from pressed steel sections, bonded with chromadek sheeting to outer surface and inner surface, cladded with 1,2mm galvanised plate, shall be fitted. Doors shall be of the jack-knife design, having runners secured to the top and bottom rails, air cylinder recessed to rear of door, right hand side facing completely covered. Two fixed windows secured in frames shall be supplied. Three point heavy duty locking device shall be fitted. Closed doors shall be designed so that it will not open if passengers press or stand against it. Heavy duty hinges shall be fitted.
HAND RAILS : Will be fitted longitudinally in the roof. Also to the sides of the body over the windows to prevent people sticking elbows out of the windows.
PARTITION INTERIOR LINING: Sides up to cant rail and roof insulated with polyurethane and clad with 1mm galvanised sheeting.
SCUTTLE VENTS: Four (4) ventilators will be fitted in the front bulkhead which can be operated from the inside of the vehicle.
EMERGENCY BELL: An emergency bell will be fitted in the drivers cab operated from the bus.
LIGHTS: Five (5) transporter bus fluorescent lights will be fitted down the centre line of the bus which are operated from the cab. Stop and taillights and flicker lights will be fitted to comply with the Road Ordinance and height marker lights will be provided outside.
PAINTING: The entire unit will be thoroughly ground and sanded in preparation for painting. The metal will be thoroughly degreased by the application of deoxidine, followed by two coats of primer and finished off with two coats of synthetic enamel in any one colour.
ANTI SURGE PARTITIONS : Partitions 1250mm apart with a central passage will be provided.
