We will never offer equipment that we would not buy for our own use.

Specifications are complex and vary from one client to another. What follows covers basic day to day requirements - anything not shown must be requested - please do not hesitate to contact us.

Buyers should examine warranties in order to satisfy themselves as to what the conditions are. Most warranties are very similar - the piece of equipment is covered subject to there being no MIS-USE OR ABUSE for the period stated. Dont't be afraid to ask questions.

Our Terms of Warranty are clearly stated on our Conditions of Sale Page but we repeat this portion for you again.

"Any new vehicle supplied will be subject to the Manufacturers warranty for the vehicle as offered in the country of destination. No warranty cover is offered on any vehicle where servicing has not been carried out in terms of the manufacturers recommendations or where obvious abuse is detected. Warranties for other components (if any) are subject to their manufacturers specific warranties. All warranty terms and conditions are available on demand. Some components may not be covered by any form of warranty. Some countries may not receive any warranty cover."

Weltevreden Car & Truck CC and Truckcoza CC warrant that all components fitted and supplied by us will be mounted strictly in accordance with the chassis manufacturers body mounting instructions and any work we do on a vehicle will not void any Manufacturers Warranty applicable to that vehicle.

Clients are reminded that warranty is only as good as the product service policy they themselves adopt. It is essential routine maintenance be carried out, correct fuels and lubricants be used and control be exercised over drivers. Some form of ongoing training program should be in place for drivers and mechanical staff. A cost recording program should be in place so that vehicle expenses can be monitored and comparisons made. This may either be manual or computerized.

BEWARE OF CONTAMINATED DIESEL IN AFRICA - THE LARGEST CAUSE OF WARRANTY REJECTIONS.

BUYERS ARE REMINDED THAT MANUFACTURERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY WARRANTY CLAIM. ALL DEFECTIVE PARTS MUST BE RETAINED FOR MANUFACTURERS INSPECTION, NUMBERED COMPONENTS MUST CORRESPOND TO THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SPECIFICATION, AND WHERE A VEHICLE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT CLAIMS ARE LIKELY TO BE REJECTED IF ACCIDENT DAMAGE HAS NOT BEEN RECTIFIED TO WITHIN MANUFACTURERS LIMITS.
